Working principle

Biofilm occurs anywhere water accumulates. This slimy layer causes is built of proteins produced by bacteria.  The biofilm provides the feeding base/foundation and provides protection for all kinds of bacteria who hide and multiply in the biofilm.  Eliminating the biofilm eliminates the bacteria problem”. For industry, biofilm formation can be problematic as the deposition can block pipes.
